Fort Collins company highlights workforce development, creative opportunity and behind-the-scenes festival logistics as Colorado’s film economy continues to grow

As Colorado’s film industry continues to gain momentum ahead of the Sundance Film Festival’s transition to the state, Fort Collins-based Two College Movers is helping support that growth while investing directly in the talents and ambitions of its employees.

Known throughout Colorado for residential and commercial moving services, Two College Movers has increasingly become involved in film and festival logistics, supporting productions, events and creative organizations across the region. The company is combining that experience with its commitment to employee development through its support of the LOUDframe International Film Festival, taking place May 22-24 at The Lyric in Fort Collins.

As part of the partnership, Two College Movers commissioned employee and graphic artist Bryce Rennick to design promotional content and festival graphics for the event, creating an opportunity for him to apply his education and creative skills in a professional setting outside of the moving industry.

Rennick, a graduate of Front Range Community College with a degree in graphic design, continues to pursue a career in the arts while working with Two College Movers.

“I’ve really enjoyed being able to put the knowledge I learned into practical use with the support of Two College Movers,” Rennick says. “Having the opportunity to create advertising content for the film festival means a lot to me.”

Company leadership says creating opportunities like this is central to the culture they are building.

“We’re more than just a moving company,” says Allen Vargas, owner and operator of Two College Movers. “We believe small businesses have the ability to help employees discover their strengths and grow into what they’re passionate about. Bryce is incredibly talented, and when we have opportunities to support that creativity, everybody wins.”

The LOUDframe International Film Festival is a three-day celebration of independent film, music and creative culture, featuring film screenings, local bands, red carpet events, workshops and networking opportunities with filmmakers and producers from across the independent film community.

Opening night will feature live music performances, red carpet appearances and press opportunities with filmmakers and festival organizers. The festival concludes Sunday evening with an awards ceremony recognizing standout films and creative achievements showcased throughout the weekend.

Two College Movers has already assisted with the first phase of Sundance-related logistics in Colorado and plans to continue supporting film and festival operations throughout the state. Since 2021, the company has worked alongside Sundance Institute and Sundance Academy operations in Estes Park, helping coordinate transportation and event logistics at the historic Stanley Hotel.

“We’re excited to continue growing our presence within Colorado’s film industry,” says Kia Vargas, owner and operator of Two College Movers. “From moving AV equipment and production supplies to supporting large-scale festival logistics, we want to help make Colorado a destination for film, entertainment and creative collaboration.”
