Shelby Perez, Founder
Sixteenth St. Studio
Sixteenth St. Studio is a photographer’s blank canvas: a thoughtfully equipped creative space in the heart of Greeley’s Creative District designed for artists who are passionate about growing their work. Founded by Shelby Perez, a Northern Colorado photographer who wanted a studio close to home, Sixteenth St. Studio is walk-in ready for photographers of all experience levels, with curated furniture, props and professional photography equipment available for use. Natural light pours in from south-facing windows, and everything about the space is built around one core belief that when artists have what they need, they can create freely.
That phrase—create freely—isn’t just a motto. It’s the standard every decision is held to, from the quality of the space to the way every person who walks through the door is welcomed. Shelby built Sixteenth St. Studio around a high bar for experience for clients shooting everything from campaigns and professional headshots to family portraits. The goal is always for people to feel genuinely at ease and inspired from the moment they arrive.
Three years in, what began as one photographer’s search for a nearby studio has grown into a creative anchor in Northern Colorado and a space where renters return, not just for the studio, but for the sense of belonging it offers. Whether someone books for the second time or the 67th, they’re met with the warmth and personal touch that makes Sixteenth St. Studio feel like theirs.
