Edison’s Ice Cream Announces Downtown Greeley Opening

By: Staff

Edison’s Ice Cream announced the opening dates for its highly anticipated new scoop shop in downtown Greeley, located in the historic Salzman Shoe building at 911 8th Ave.

The shop will begin welcoming guests during a soft opening on Wednesday, May 27, giving the community an early chance to stop in, try a few flavors and explore the nostalgic new space.

The official grand opening celebration will take place Saturday and Sunday, May 30-31, with special promotions and giveaways throughout the weekend. To celebrate the opening, Edison’s will offer buy-one, get-one scoops all day Saturday, and guests will have multiple chances to win free pints during the festivities.

The Greeley location features Edison’s signature vintage-inspired aesthetic, with a design that pays tribute to the historic Salzman Shoe building and the era when the building was in its prime. The nostalgic space was thoughtfully created to honor the building’s past while giving the community a welcoming place to gather over great ice cream.

Edison’s Ice Cream is known for its creative lineup of premium ice cream flavors, including both classic dairy and dairy-free options—all made gluten-free so more people can enjoy the experience together. And if gluten- or dairy-free ice cream sounds underwhelming, think again. One scoop is all it takes to completely redefine what you thought ice cream could be.

“We’re excited to finally open the doors and welcome the Greeley community in,” says Nate Frary, owner of Edison’s Ice Cream. “The Salzman building has such a rich history, and we’re proud to bring new life to the space while creating a place where people can come together and make new memories.”
