Human Bean Northern Colorado has made it a long-standing tradition to support cancer fighters in Northern Colorado with programs like Coffee for a Cure. For their most recent effort, The Human Bean hosted a fundraiser to support the Colorado Eagles Fight Cancer game on Jan. 10, benefiting the UCHealth Northern Colorado Foundation Oncology Patient Assistance Fund.
From Dec. 26-Jan. 16, 100 percent of proceeds from The Human Bean’s “Purple Rain” drink from all 11 drive-thru locations was donated to the fund. Thanks to the community, $3,000 was raised to support local cancer patients.
“Supporting cancer patients in our community has long been a part of who we are,” says Frank Sherman, owner of Human Bean Northern Colorado. “Raising $3,000 through something as simple as a cup of coffee shows the power of coming together for a meaningful cause. We are grateful to everyone who ordered a Purple Rain and helped make a difference.”
The funds raised will help provide financial assistance for cancer patients facing expenses beyond medical treatment, easing the burden during an already challenging time.
