KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins is proud to announce the return of the Elizabeth Hotel Music Experience, presented by Mountain Valley Bank, on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025, in celebration of Colorado Gives Day. This year’s event expands to include Surfside 7, creating a multi-location musical experience that spans the city and supports KRFC’s mission to amplify community voices through independent radio.
From 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m., The Elizabeth Hotel will host a vibrant lineup of Colorado artists, including Sugar Britches, iZCALLi, Eva Rose King, Nathaniel Riley, Aubrey Dale and Magnie & Amedeux. Meanwhile, Surfside 7 will come alive starting at 7 p.m. with performances by RLY ORY, No Fauna and The Crooked Rugs, offering an edgier, late-night vibe to round out the day’s festivities.
“This event is a reflection of everything KRFC stands for,” says Justin Clapp, executive director of KRFC. “Colorado Gives Day is more than a fundraiser; it’s a celebration of the community we serve. By expanding to Surfside 7, we’re deepening our connection to local music and inviting even more people to experience the energy and creativity that define Fort Collins.”
The evening’s centerpiece is the VIP Sunset Lounge Experience at The Elizabeth Hotel, featuring Glen Phillips of Toad the Wet Sprocket with special guest starpass (Ilana Held of Mystee). This ticketed event begins at 7:30 p.m. and includes drinks, appetizers, a signed Glen Phillips vinyl album and an intimate performance in the hotel’s Sunset Lounge. Tickets are $250 and are limited with 60 available, offering guests a rare
opportunity to connect with the artist in a cozy, exclusive setting.
“KRFC is a vital thread in the cultural fabric of Northern Colorado,” says James Yearling, president of the KRFC board of directors. “This event showcases the incredible talent in our region while raising essential funds to keep community radio thriving. We invite everyone to come out, enjoy the music and invest in the future of local broadcasting.”
The fourth annual Elizabeth Hotel Music Experience is a community-powered celebration of local artistry, storytelling and connection. All proceeds benefit KRFC 88.9 FM and the local musicians who make Fort Collins a cultural beacon. For information about these events and to purchase your ticket, visit krfcfm.org.
