Northern Colorado’s 4th Annual FoCo Juneteenth Celebration returns June 20–21, 2025, at Foothills Mall—continuing a vibrant, community-rooted tradition of honoring Black freedom, culture, and joy. This year’s event is organized by BPN, in partnership with United Way, the City of Fort Collins, and Foothills Mall. It is proudly sponsored by FirstBank, UCHealth, and Colorado State University.

This two-day celebration centers on family, wellness, the arts, and legacy.

This year’s theme, “Honoring Our Past, Building Our Future,” reflects the power of intergenerational storytelling and Black resilience. Thousands are expected to gather for a dynamic lineup that includes live performances, a Health & Wellness Fair, a vendor market, youth and family activities, and a celebration of community excellence.

“Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom, resilience, and culture—and it’s been a joy to see that spirit come alive in Fort Collins for the past four years,” says LaKendre’aMoore, Juneteenth Program Manager. “Each year, our community grows stronger, more unified, and more committed to honoring the legacy of liberation.”

Highlights of the 2025 Celebration:
  • Live entertainment featuring local and regional artists
  • Vendor market spotlighting Black- and POC-owned businesses
  • Youth and family activities including outdoor games, crafts, and cultural programming
  • Health and wellness fair connecting families to local services and holistic care
  • Community partnerships and more

FoCo Juneteenth invites community members, businesses, and partners to get involved by signing up as volunteers or vendors. This year’s event offers a public celebration where people of all backgrounds are welcome to come together in culture, connection, and shared joy.
