The first-ever Daddy Daughter Doll Up taught dads how to style hair, apply simple makeup and paint nails. Led by professional hairstylists, makeup artists, estheticians, nail technicians and photographers, the event gave dads the skills to help prepare their daughters for dance recitals, school plays and other special outings. Daddy Daughter Doll Up was created by Andrew Johnson, owner of Business Networking Done Right, who was inspired by the challenge of learning these skills while caring for his daughter when his wife was recovering from a car accident. At the event, daughters also tested their beauty skills on their dads, and families captured sweet moments at the photo booth. The proceeds benefited Realities For Children.
