Domestic Violence: An Artist’s Perspective

By: Staff

Loveland nonprofit Alternatives to Violence hosted a cocktail reception to celebrate their pop-up exhibition at Artworks Center for Contemporary Art. Titled Domestic Violence: An Artist’s Perspective, the show prompted conversations about domestic violence, a topic that is often difficult to talk about. The show also served to let survivors know they are not alone and that they can get support and free services through Alternatives to Violence. Artists from Northern Colorado and the Denver area shared their artwork for the event, which hosted 100 attendees.
