The Museum of Art l Fort Collins Doubles its Space and Programs

The Museum of Art l Fort Collins (MoA) will open several new spaces to the public on March 3, 2023, during the opening of the 19th Annual Eye Center of Northern Colorado Masks Fundraiser and Exhibition. In addition to a supplemental gallery on the main floor, MoA has added a 2500-square-foot education & programming space.

The new MoA for All Art Engagement Center will host a combination of free and fee-based programming. MoA is committed to addressing the barriers to equity and inclusion, social justice, and diversity through exhibitions, programs, and community engagement with visual arts and culture. Through volunteer ambassadors, outreach, and partnerships with agencies that serve the underrepresented we will provide an accessible place to explore the artist within, educate about the power of art, and create a sense of belonging for all.

MoA for All free and reduced admission strategies at the museum include:

●      Free for all children/students under 18

●      Free for all college students in Fort Collins (CSU and FRCC)

●      Free School Field Trips within PSD boundaries

●      Free for all active and retired military personnel and their families

●      Free for all SNAP recipients

●      Free memberships for social service agencies that serve traditionally underrepresented communities

“We are so pleased to be changing our service model to become more inclusive and create a sense of belonging for all members of the community through MoA for All.” says Lisa Hatchadoorian, Executive Director.

“We are counting on community support to help us make this vision a reality,” explains Elizabeth Martin, Director of Strategy and Development. “It really is the only way to break down the barriers to accessibility to the arts.”
