The Lincoln Center Announces its 2022/2023 Season Lineup

The Lincoln Center announced its 2022/2023 season lineup today, bringing some of the world’s finest arts and entertainment to the Fort Collins community and beyond.

Coming to The Lincoln Center for the first time are three fantastic, national Broadway tours including On Your Feet!, the story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan, the fabulously fun and international award-winning Legally Blonde – The Musical, and Anastasia, the romantic and adventure-filled story inspired by the beloved films.

The Lincoln Center’s Laugh Riot Series will feature hilarious acts like Marc Maron, Kathleen Madigan, and the totally improvised show based on audience suggestions Whose Live Anyway? With Special Guest Drew Carey.

Musical acts include, amongst others, the time-bending musical sensation Postmodern Jukebox, Ukrainian ethnic fusion band DakhaBrakha, the Latin GRAMMY-winning, all-female mariachi ensemble Flor de Toloache, piano virtuoso siblings The 5 Browns, and the GRAMMY-winning jazz ensemble Mingus Big Band.

For the drama lovers, The Lincoln Center’s season will feature two theatrical productions: Turning 15 on the Road to Freedom, the inspiring true story of Lynda Blackmon Lowery, the youngest person to participate in the Voting Rights March from Selma to Montgomery in 1965, and The Acting Company’s special Valentine’s Day presentation of one of the greatest love stories ever told William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.

Other season highlights include the family-friendly ZUZU African Acrobats, hailing from Tanzania, these jaw-dropping acrobats will share their 2,000-year-old Bantu culture. Enjoy side-splitting fun with HYPROV: Improv Under Hypnosis starring Colin Mochrie and Asad Mecci, where volunteers are hypnotized live on stage and interact in hilarious improv scenes. Additionally, the season will feature some rescheduled performances like the much-anticipated Cie Hervé Koubi, the gravity-defying, all-male group of urban street performers that blend contemporary dance and capoeira with martial arts and acrobatics.

“We can’t wait to enjoy all of the art, drama, laughter, and thrills together with our audiences in the coming season,” says Jack Rogers, The Lincoln Center Director. “With so much diversity in our offerings this season, there truly is something for every member of our Northern Colorado community to engage in and experience.”

Season package renewals begin tomorrow May 20, 2002, at noon for all existing 2022/21 package holders. Season renewals will continue through July.
