NOCO 30 Under 30 FAQ and Contest Rules

Each August, NOCO Style features 30 rising young stars who have made an impactful contribution in Northern Colorado. Applications are now open to be one of the honorees. Here are answers to common questions about the NOCO 30 Under 30 program.

How can I submit an application for someone?

The application period for the 30 Under 30 class of 2022 opened on Tuesday, April 13, 2022, at noon MT, and will close June 1, 2022 at noon MT. Nominations must be made by a third party, no self-nominations. Ask Mom and Dad, they would be happy to do it.

Who’s eligible to enter?

For the 2022 feature, residents of Larimer or Weld counties who are 29 years old or younger on July 31, 2022, and who has not been profiled as a previous 30 Under 30 honoree is eligible. Previous finalists who didn’t make it into the group of 30 honorees are allowed to reapply.

What are the judges looking for?

Rising young stars who are business- or community-driven, innovative in their field, show a spirit of service or strong precedent of leadership, or be creative and passionate about their art and have made an impactful contribution in Northern Colorado.

How will I know if my application was received?

An e-mail will be sent to the address listed in the application to confirm receipt of the submitted form. If it’s determined that the application is incomplete or missing some information, a second e-mail will be sent.

How and when will I be notified of the judges’ decision?

All applicants will be notified of their status via e-mail in June 2022.

Why is July 31 the birthday cutoff?

The honorees must be under 30 as of the August announcement and celebration.
