From Colorado Dance Troupe to America’s Got Talent

Established in 2009 in Denver, Colorado, by creator and director Lynne Waggoner-Patton, The Silhouettes became a national sensation after their performance on America’s Got Talent season six in 2011, placing second out of more than 100,000 acts. They returned for America’s Got Talent: The Champions in 2020, receiving the coveted golden buzzer from celebrity judge, Alesha Dixon.

After their reality TV success, The Silhouettes traveled the world, creating powerful, values-driven performances that evoke emotion from audiences and raise awareness on behalf of organizations supporting homeless children, veterans, and families in need. The company raised more than $100,000 for homeless children in the U.S. and remains committed to giving back through performances that change the world, “one shadow at a time.”
