Free Food from Citipointe & Betta Gumbo

On March 20th, Clay Caldwell, owner of Betta Gumbo restaurant was moved to compassion and said we have to do something to love and help our community. His idea was to use the kitchen power of Betta Gumbo and partner with pastors Aaron & Becky Lucas with the volunteer resource of Citipointe Church.  On April 27th they launched. In the first four weeks they served over 3,500 free meals to anyone and everyone, prayed for countless people and raised over $55,000 for the partnership between Betta Gumbo and Citipointe Church to eliminate hunger and bring hope during a very uncertain time.
