Sculpture in the Park Show & Sale Postponement

The Loveland High Plains Arts Council (LHPAC) has announced the postponement of Sculpture in the Park Show & Sale until 2021. Sponsored by LHPAC, the Show and Sale annually hosts talented sculptors from around the world. This outstanding exhibit held in Benson Sculpture Garden in Loveland, Colo. attracts 15,000 to 20,000 art lovers and collectors from across the country. In 2019, sales exceeded $1,500,000, with over 82% of the artists selling their work.

“The very nature of Sculpture in the Park is such that our attendees can mingle with the artists, purchase their work, and enjoy the great beauty of the sculpture in Loveland’s own Benson Sculpture Garden,” said Tracy Hogue, LHPAC Board President. “It’s such an iconic event.”

LHPAC Executive Director Kristi Elyce added, “This is the first time since our inception the event has been postponed. However, our board has agreed that, in the best interest of our artists, volunteers, patrons, sponsors and guests, we needed to put everyone’s health and safety first and adhere to social distancing guidelines. We look forward to 2021 when we’ll celebrate sculpture in Loveland once again.”
