A Message from the Boys & Girls Clubs CEO

Dear Friends,

We hope that this message finds you and your family well during this difficult time. As we continue to monitor ongoing developments related to COVID-19 please know Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County is committed now more than ever to helping families and our community. We want to reassure you that although Clubs are closed, we have been working with community partners to help in the following ways:

  1. Food Distribution: Club staff will be on hand at select Food Bank Distribution sites to help distribute food to families. Our Sage Homes Club in Wellington will be a distribution site for Wellington youth. Click here for the full list of distribution sites in Larimer County
  2. Childcare: Select Club staff members will be providing in-home childcare for health professionals, and we are looking into utilizing our Clubs as emergency childcare centers so that these professionals can get to work and not worry about childcare.
  3. Daily Club Clips: BGCLC staff have created daily videos that are fun and engaging, outlining activities that Club members can do at home. These videos are being posted every morning and will also offer a daily schedule as a resource for families. These activities will include lessons in cooking, academic challenges, physical games and art projects. Families will be able to use these videos as resources while schools and Clubs are closed.

We will continue to provide updates on the Family Resource page on our website and our social media channels as soon as they become available. We are confident that as a community we will see our way through this challenging time and come out better and stronger than before.
Thank you for your continued support throughout these unprecedented times.
Sincerely,
Kaycee Headrick
CEO, Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County
