The Berthoud Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated their Member Gala in Roaring ‘20s style, with more than half of the 160 attendees dressed in costume. The goal was to celebrate the 2020 Officers, 2019 Award Winners and Chamber Members rather than focusing on the event being a fundraiser. Following the idea to change things up, they held a ticket auction, dessert dash and wine pull instead of their usual auctions. Dinner was provided by Bradford’s. The 2019 Winners were: Business of the Year – Jones Excavating & Plumbing; Citizen of the Year – John Beck; Ambassador of the Year – Cindy Leach; Non-Profits of the Year – RAFT and Let’s PLANet Giving; Doctors Fickel Award – Maranda Rider; Chamber Supporting Role – AdSortium Media.
