On November 16th The Boys and Girls Clubs of Weld County had their 21st annual Calf Auction at Producers Livestock in Greeley. They had 150 people in attendance and successfully raised $179,000! With over 3,000 registered members and over 500 youth served per day, this fundraising effort goes a long way to support their vital programming that every child goes through: education, sports and recreation, leadership and service, the arts, health and wellness. They had a mixture of items for the live auction after a free prime rib lunch (thanks to JBS & Nordy’s BBQ). While there were many supporters there, they would like to give a special thanks to PDC and SRC Energy companies, as well as Montera Cattle Company, Guttersen Ranch, Hunter Ridge and the many others they could not list here today.
