A whole lotta healing will soon set the stage for a whole lotta fundraising in support of Loveland residents who live in the Loveland Housing Authority’s (LHA) affordable housing communities.
Starting on Monday, November 18th, through Friday, November 22nd from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., acupuncturists from Thrive CommUnity Acupuncture will offer FREE acupuncture in their new downtown Loveland clinic to anyone who donates to Aspire 3D, a new non-profit focused on housing stability, education and health for people living in Loveland Housing Authority’s affordable apartment communities. Refreshments, hot cider, and soothing acupuncture will be served each day of the 5-Day Acupuncture Heal-A-Thon Fundraiser. “Acupuncture is really calming because it stimulates the release of the body’s ‘relaxation chemistry’ called endorphins,” explains Robert Evans, Founder of Thrive CommUnity Acupuncture. “Most of our patients find themselves taking deep naps, which helps to reset the nervous system and support functional healing.”
