Join desk chair on September 10th & 11th as they bring Tommy Caldwell, world-renowned rock-climbing phenomenon and star of the documentary “The Dawn Wall”, to their AMP Up series in Loveland. On September 10th desk chair is hosting a happy hour at 5:30 p.m. followed by the showing of “The Dawn Wall” at the Rialto Theatre. September 11th from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Tommy himself will speak on the power of our mind, setting goals and overcoming challenges at a meet & greet breakfast.
Tommy has established some of the hardest climbing routes in the country and free climbed 12 routes on El Capitan in Yosemite. He believes difficult journeys, with little chance for success, teach him the most. This attitude is no better exemplified than by his first free ascent of Dawn Wall in January of 2015, and his first ascent of the Fitz Traverse in Patagonia in February of 2014.
The exclusive breakfast event will not only promote perseverance and spirit, but proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Loveland. A local organization providing a safe environment to help young people reach their full potential.
