It was a day to hope, remember and celebrate for the nearly 350 walkers and volunteers who participated in the annual March of Dimes, March for Babies event. Participating families honored the babies they’ve lost and celebrated those who survived a premature birth and came to support the day when every mom would have a healthy pregnancy and all babies would be born strong. Nearly $65,000 was raised at the Northern Colorado event to fund research, advocacy and programs such as NICU Family Support. Since its inception in 1970 as “WalkAmerica,” March for Babies has raised nearly $2 billion and is held in more than 500 communities nationwide.
